How do I make a booking?

Email us [email protected] or give us a call on 01245 254036. One of our dedicated events team will be in touch to talk you through all our venue hire offerings. Alternatively, complete our online enquiry form and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

How do I get to Essex Cricket?

The Ambassador Cruise Line ground is situated in the heart of the city. Chelmsford Station is only a 10-minute walk away, with trains running to and from London every 12 minutes. The ground is a short walk from Chelmsford bus station with multiple bus services running per day. Alternatively, you can park in our on-site car park.

Is there onsite parking?

We do have a paid car park onsite. When booking an event with us we can usually include a limited number of complimentary spaces, please discuss this at time of booking.

Pick up & drop off up to 30 mins: FREE

Up to 1 hour: £1.20

Up to 2 hours: £1.50

Up to 3 hours: £2.00

Up to 4 hours: £3.00

Up to 6 hours: £5.00

Over 6 hours: £7.00

After 5pm until Midnight.

Up to 1 hour: £1.20

Up to 2 hours: £1.50

Over 2 hours: £2.00

The car park is operated using ANPR technology and is administered by Smart Parking (UK) Ltd.

When can I make an enquiry?

If you would like to make an enquiry or speak with a member of our events team, our offices are open Monday -Friday, 9am – 5pm. Alternatively, you can complete our online enquiry form, and we will be in touch!

What hours do your events run?

Our events are available to book from 8am – 12am.

Can I view the room in advance?

Yes, call 01245 254036 or email [email protected] to book a viewing prior to your event.

Do you provide catering?

Yes, we have a range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and special event catering options.

Can I bring my own food and drink or caterers?

You are not permitted to bring your own food and drink or caterers.

Can you provide Audio-Visual equipment?

We can provide a screen and projector for an additional charge. We can also work with our recommended supplier to provide things such as microphones, extra screens, or any other AV equipment. You are also welcome to provide your own.

If I am an Essex Cricket Member, can I receive a discount?

Yes, Essex Cricket Members receive 50% off room hire for celebrations. Charities also receive 25% off room hire.

Can I book a room on matchdays?

Although you cannot book a private event on matchdays, why not host your guests in one of our exclusive hospitality spaces? The perfect blend of cricket and comfort, view the action up close accompanied by first class food and drink throughout the match.
